Good evening families of Simons Valley School 

I hope everyone has had a chance to enjoy the warm weather today as we start our long weekend.  Just a few reminders for the upcoming week.  A big thanks to our school council for supporting our financial requests.  The school has benefited greatly from your generosity.

• April 18: Good Friday – No School 
• April 21: Non-Instruction Day - No School for Students 
• April 22: Deadline to Order Growing Smiles Flower Fundraiser 
• April 24: Grade’s 1, 4, Kindergarten and EES Music Performance 6:30pm 
• April 28- May 1: Kindergarten and Grade 4 Swimming

2025-26 School Year Updates 

Due to our shorter duration on Fridays (9:02 AM-1:05 PM) we will replace our lunch break with a snack break.  The good side of this news is that families will only have to prepare lunches from Monday to Thursday (4-Day Lunch Program).  We also suggest bringing a full water bottle every day.  Lastly, next year our bell times are: 

Growing Smiles Fundraiser 

Simons Valley School Council is pleased to bring to you our Flowers Fundraiser. This year we have a huge selection including patio planters, hanging baskets, strawberries, assorted herbs and assorted veggies, geraniums, marigolds, petunias and indoor plants.

The deadline to order is April 22 and you’ll be able to pick your flowers up on May 7, which is right on time for Mother’s Day! All proceeds go towards supporting our school, thank you in advance for your orders!
